Rhonda founded Creating Memories twelve years ago to allow her to do what she loves most – telling stories through photography. She chooses a photojournalistic approach to capture life’s special moments. She captures the real character of her subjects with the intent to produce affordable, quality images. Rhonda is more than just the photographer for your special event or portrait session; she’s a real friend. She treats her clients with the utmost respect and makes sure as the client you’re pleased with the level of service you received. She specializes in all types of photography, but she loves photographing children and families in natural environments. Rhonda also has a passion for hand-tinting photographs as well as having an extensive background in black and white photography.
Seniors Rhonda understands how important it is to have trendy and unique senior photos. She wants your senior photos to be reflective of who you are. She will work with you to find the perfect location, clothing and props to achieve these uniquely you portraits. Children Rhonda doesn’t take just any ordinary photo of a child. She captures the child’s soul and uniqueness in her portraits. The majority of the children find the photo sessions to be a lot of fun as there is not a ton of posing. Rhonda can certainly do any posed shot that you desire, but her real talent is capturing the child’s natural beauty. Families Let Rhonda create a memorable family portrait at any location of your choosing. If you don’t have the perfect location already let Rhonda help pick a spot that is sure to reflect your family’s personality. Family pets are always welcome as well. Weddings Rhonda approaches weddings in a creative documentary style. Traditional posed shots of families and the wedding party will be taken of course, but the primary focus of the photography is on the couple and the events of day. Rhonda not only documents those special little details for the couple, but also captures those important moments that occur during the big day, whether planned or spontaneous. She strives for pictures that are natural, beautiful, and real to present to the bride and groom.
A message from the artist
I love my job and am thankful to every client that takes a chance on me. It's so much more than a business to me; it's my passion. My focus is to capture that tender instant where a moment meets art — a beautiful document that captures the moments we otherwise cherish only in our memories. I strive to take timeless portraits that are original pieces of art, not just “snapshots” that will be replaced in a year or two. –Rhonda
